Samantha Sheets“I don’t care if a reader hates one of my stories, just as long as he finishes the book.” |
My name is Samantha Sheets. I am a junior at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Currently, I plan to major in Criminal Justice and minor in English. I was born and raised in Maspeth, New York. I am currently employed for the Department of Probation under the title “College Aide” and I am extremely grateful for all I have learned there thus far. I have always been a Broadway aficionado and have a goal to see 100 Broadway shows before I die (You can find my reviews on some of these Broadway musicals under the “Review” section in “Features”).
I also have a strong love for Japanese culture and I plan to study abroad there in winter of 2018, so expect a few pieces on that experience in the future. I enjoy spending my time and money on video games or popped up in front of the television. Being a fan of reading since childhood, I enjoy being immersed within stories. This explains my love for writing, and everything connected to the fictional world. While my writing here is non-fiction, I still enjoy composing a story that can connect to many and help distribute a different perspective on a situation. My writing will vary as time progresses, but I hope you stick around for the ride |
