Katherine Santana |
My name is Katherine Santana, I am a first generation Dominican American and currently majoring in Forensic Psychology as well as minoring in Anthropology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. One of the many things I enjoy in life is music, I am always listening to music wherever I go, in many ways it mellows me out. I know that when I need a good moment for myself I can just reach for my iPod and play some music. Sometimes I get so into it that I begin to sing out loud. I also enjoy reading and writing. I enjoy a good reading that has emotion and makes me think.
My mind is always buzzing which is why I love writing. It helps me sort out everything I'm thinking about, from basic opinions to questions. My mind wanders constantly and it can happen from simply watching a program or walking around. My writings will usually be based on anything, it can range from world issues to something as simple as food. However, most will be centered on the real world and the issues that we are facing. I feel like it is great to display a variety of topics, it not only opens your horizons but it makes you think. It becomes even more amazing when there is an emotion behind it. |
